After you wear it
Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth. Store pieces separately so chains stay untangled and polished surfaces avoid scratches.
Stone, pearl and shell
Remove natural-stone, pearl and shell pieces before swimming, showering or exercise. Avoid soaking and ultrasonic cleaning. Malachite and mother-of-pearl deserve particular care.
Gold-plated finishes
Apply fragrance and lotion before putting jewelry on. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive polishing. Plating can wear over time, depending on use and care.
Sensitive skin
Stainless steel is not necessarily nickel-free. If you have a known metal allergy, check the exact material for your chosen piece before wearing it.
